BATS, Direct Edge to Merge

BATS Global Markets and Direct Edge have agreed to merge, creating one of the biggest U.S. exchanges. The terms of the tie-up were not disclosed. FOX Business’ Charlie Gasparino reported news of the impending deal last week.
